Like another reviewer said, the item I received is also clearly used, with scratches and dirty marks. I assume they get a lot of returns. I did manage to get the unit pair with my bluetooth phone (Nokia 5800). However, the paring is never smooth. Sometimes it works automatically, more often I have to manually un-pair and re-pair them again in order to get it work. When it works, the sound is good. The main reason I chose this product over similar ones is because it has a steering wheel remote. Unfortunately, it does not work. I tried to change the battery (the package contains a spare one), and that's when I discovered the poor craftsmanship: a metal spring sticks out in the battery compartment and it took me quite a while to put the new battery in and the cover on. Then I discovered the play/pause/answer button on the remote is dead; it cannot be depressed. I am sending the box back.
Update: I changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars because I just realized that the automatic bluetooth pairing issue could be a Nokia problem. Nonetheless, they shouldn't send me a used item, with two dead remote controls (that's right, both the steering wheel remote and handhold remote were dead). I am glad I returned it because a new car kit I bought is cheaper and much easier to operate.
